1. Firstly if you had a regular income.

If you have come from a background of regular income and a 9 to 5 job then you usually have weekly or monthly pay. As a personal trainer you will generally earn different amounts determined by schedules and even seasons. Managing your bills can turn into a real challenge. One option is to have your business account as well as a personal and savings one. That way you can keep something aside for less busy days.

2. Missing your social life out because of different work hours to your friends.

This can happen if you don’t pay attention to planning your lifestyle. Too many early morning and late nights throughout the week and weekend can cause you to say no to a lot of invites. Nights out and birthdays can be a problem. However you can get social by being creative with your time. You could arrange to meet up with your friends in the day time. You could plan a day off and go out for dinner with your social circle. As you build your client base, you will be able to make more of a choice about your schedule. For your first you years you will have to think outside of the box to maintain a rich social life.

3. Getting enough sleep. It’s hard to preach a healthy lifestyle if you are not getting enough sleep yourself! It is also hard to stay healthy when you are not getting enough sleep. If you are working until 8pm and waking up at 5.30am, chances are you are not getting enough sleep.

4. Client’s cancelling.
