In this video, Adam shares a few great core moves for building a solid trunk and abs for hollistic strength and health.
I believe in foundations like the big lifts with big movements but there are some great core drills with different movements like side planks, which are whole body big movements.
Other drills I like are pikes on Swiss balls or off of a bench of ball.
– Turkish get ups using kettle bells.
– Hyperextensions with or without weights.
– Side raises from a hyperextensions platform.
– Hanging leg raises and Russian twists.
I tend to like core drills that involve lengthening and big movements rather than sit-up and crunches.
However a better sit up for me is where you sit up raise your arms over head and then stand up and then go back down and repeat the whole thing.
