You CANNOT out exercise a poor diet and you can’t maintain performance without a solid nutrition plan.

When people start personal training, exercise can be a real shock to the system but people often forget that nutrition alone can be just as an effective tool to get yourself into great shape.

I do many forms of exercise from weights, to olympic lifts, to plyometrics, to pilates, to yoga, to martial arts and strength work. These allow me to shock my body from many different angles and so it’s vital for me to eat a varied diet of fruit, vegetables and quality sources of protein to repair my body and keep my immune system strong so I can continue to improve and enjoy each of these practices.

Remember, Exercise is only a small part of the health and wellbeing puzzle, the way you fuel and repair yourself through nutrition is what really matters.
