I always feel when you want something you have to be willing to invest money, time, intensity, effort, discipline and the desire for that thing, otherwise you don’t really want it, do you?

For me, when a client shows this and has left all doubts out of the window and has allowed themselves to be coachable we have a client who’s going to have tremendous results. He or she will listen, they will create changes to make things happen and expect yet overcome challenges and difficulties.

The most important trait is the willingness to change and to adhere to guidance from your trainer, after all MOST good trainers have several years of experience.  Then there’s respect. If a trainer asks you to pay in advance you do it because it’s the right thing to do and you do it ahead of time and with ease to show your commitment and respect for the whole process. Many times I get asked if people can pay for one session or if they can have a free trial, this for me is a prime example of someone on the fence and not really committed to making the changes they seek and that’s fine it may not be the right time just yet.

If you’re looking to do personal training, do your research first. Don’t just go with the cheapest option you must TRUST your trainer fully and look into their history of results for clients or who they are associated with eg: the team around them.
