4 Essentials For Your Training Programme
Isn’t it better to get awesome at four essential movements and progress on them, rather than playing around with lots of exercises into a false delusion of progress and fantasy?
Whats wrong with going hardcore and hardworking on the basics that will cover everything you need universally?
Here it is, pick 4 exercises, train 3 x a week doing 3 whole body workouts and skip or run 3 x a week and do some shadow boxing or dancing, whatever takes your fancy to get moving, as movement is king, the point of this is to get focused to get good at something, and to get stronger and measurably progressive at it to clearly see progress.
Heres an example:
I’m going on holiday and want to get back to basics, so for core and legs do back squats or overhead squats, do incline or decline dumbbell push ups, do wide grip pull ups and do deadlifts or bent over rows, that will cover the whole body and to get the blood flowing on the same day afterward do skipping, running, dancing or boxing or do that on alternate days depending on what works better for you
- Incline bench press
- Overhead squats
- Wide grip pull ups
- Decline dumbbell skullcrushers
So pick 4 exercises for the next week or month that give you strength, balance and feel good factor and see how you progress!
