Stick Your Butt Out When You Squat!
In this video, Adam explains why you should stick your butt out when squatting to get the most out of the lift.
I’m amazed at how few people actually know how to squat.
I mean Men’s Health all fitness magazines all classes and all pts and pt studios teach it.
Yet I’ve hardly ever seen an athlete do a squat properly unless they are a proper lifter eg power lifter Olympic lifter or the odd fitness model.
Some people can’t keep there heels down on the ground which means they don’t know how to engage their glutes or they use there calves too much.
Some can’t keep their lower back and upper back and chests upright and tense.
Rarely do I see someone squat doing all of these together and congruently.
